Description
The Waikato Chamber of Commerce is excited to host the first Westpac Smarts series event with Ben Turner, Treasurer for Westpac New Zealand.
It has been a turbulent 12 months for business and the economy, with many factors at play. Ben will reflect on this and detail Westpac’s view on where the economy is headed.
Ben will also discuss the recent RBNZ Funding for Lending Programme and what this means for our economy, for you, and for your businesses.

About Ben Turner
Ben Turner was recently appointed as Treasurer of Westpac New Zealand Ltd. Mr Turner is an experienced Treasury executive, having worked in the banking and financial services sector for close to 20 years. Prior to joining Westpac, he was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs in London. He has also held various other treasury and financial markets roles in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Mr Turner has a Bachelor of Business Studies, majoring in Finance, from Massey University and a Master’s in Applied Finance from Victoria University of Wellington.
