Mr Turner is an experienced Treasury executive\, having worked in the banking and financial services sector for close to 20 years. Prior to joining Westpac\, he was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs in London. He has also held various other treasury and financial markets roles in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Mr Turner has a Bachelor of Business Studies\, majoring in Finance\, from Massey University and a Master's in Applied Finance from Victoria University of Wellington.
