Join us for the next Inspire... We'll be having a chat with Harry Mowbray.
Harry a serial entrepreneur. One of Harry's big projects was the re-development of the Matangi Dairy Factory. It is a historic building, with two of NZ's most famous companies coming out of it; Glaxo (a predecessor of GlaxoSmithKline) and the New Zealand Dairy Association (which eventually lead to the formation of Fonterra). It is now home to a number of businesses including Laslo Boats, AWOP, Black Dog Furniture and Zorp.
Harry's children are currently in China, working on and running Zuru Toys, who shocked the world after the launch of a “Bunch O Balloons!” and other cutting-edge consumer goods. They've also recently purchased the Coatesville Mansion (formerly known as the DotCom Mansion). He has a son and daughter in-law running one of his other businesses here in the Waikato, AWOP a leading event/payment technology company.
Harry has a huge property investment profile and again has either founded, saved and grown a portfolio of businesses. Harry and his wife Linda currently reside in Matangi.
