Description
No one in Waikato needs to be reminded of the impact of a cyber attack, and nor do we want to worry about what might happen to our business should we be next.
Cert NZ reports 2,333 incidents in Q1 2022 with a loss value of $3.7million, therefore it is worthwhile investing your time to learn about the new holistic approach of Cyber Resiliency over just Cyber Security.
Cyber Resilience is the new Cyber Security, and the difference is your ability to restore your operations from a backup so Resiliency isn't just about keeping bad actors out, but should the unthinkable happen, you can get your operations up and running effectively.
This also has a positive effect on your business cyber insurance which may provide noteable savings as a result of being able to keep your operation running in the advent of a security event.
We have already migrated a range of our clients on the upgrade path from "Cyber Security' to Cyber Resiliency", and you will have the opportunity to talk to some at this event, if you are new to working with Houston.
At our event, you'll be able to network with other business leaders along with hearing from a range of speakers including;
- CISO, James Dickinson - a leading Security Specialist, former CDO of BDO now working with Houston Technology to deliver NIST Security Framework
- Samantha Borg - Datto Country Manager who will speak to the world of resiliency and how Datto products enable this.
- Our very own Founder Alan Chew who will introduce you to Houston and share about the 35 year history of Innovation and support of the Waikato region.
We look forward to helping you understand the realities of protecting your business from attack, but also how we can manage a restore of all systems and data to continue operations speedily reducing any impact to your business, clients or team.
We look forward to hosting you, your Head of IT and head of the business for this critical security update and opportunity to consider your approach and how we can help.
