About Us
The Cancer Society Waikato/Bay of Plenty supports people and whanau impacted by cancer across the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Rotorua Lakes regions. We provide free support services including information, counselling, transport assistance, accommodation, support groups and practical help for those affected by cancer.
We also work to reduce the impact of cancer through health promotion, education, advocacy and vital cancer research funding.
Local businesses play an important role in helping us continue this work. Whether through workplace fundraising, volunteering, sponsorship or community partnerships, there are many ways to get involved and make a meaningful difference for local people facing cancer.
Together, we can create a future free from cancer.
