About Us

The Sculpture Park is a 35 year project to restore a derelict landscape, transforming it into s 17.5 hectare arboretum. More than 30,000 trees representing world-wide biodiversity have been planted sine 1991.

The Art-In-Nature experience aims to inspire imaginations, spark environmentally sustainable creativity and nourish inquisitive minds in an accessible wilderness environment. The 2km trail is set amongst a landscape of ponds. cliffs, rocks and flowering shrubs.

With over 100 sculptures and installations created by New Zealand artists, it is one one New Zealand's largest outdoor galleries. Each of the sculptures tells a individual and thought provoking story.

The Park is now run and administered by the Art-In-Nature Arboretum Trust. This charitable trust provides environmental and creative inspiration for all ages to enjoy.
