About Us

For more than 20 years I worked in banking and customer-focused roles, building strong relationships with businesses and people. For the past 11 years, I’ve brought that experience into the events industry through Food Truck Events.

Today, I work with a network of more than 300 food trucks and vendors, delivering festivals, corporate events, private functions and community markets across the Waikato and beyond.

For me, events are about more than food. They are about creating opportunities for small businesses, bringing people together and helping communities thrive.

I understand the challenges faced by small businesses because I work alongside them every week. My events provide vendors with opportunities to reach new customers, build their brands, generate income and become part of their local community.

I also work with businesses, councils and commercial partners to create events that generate foot traffic, customer engagement and positive experiences.

My experience includes large-scale event coordination, vendor management, marketing, logistics and building strong commercial relationships. One of my largest contracts involved coordinating 55 food trucks across five locations for New Year’s Eve in partnership with Tauranga City Council.

My goal is simple: to create well-organised, welcoming events that benefit everyone involved — the businesses, the community and the people who attend.

At the heart of Food Truck Events is my passion for supporting small business and creating places where communities can connect, enjoy themselves and come together.
