About Us
Photo retail and Picture frame manufacturing, Imageland began in 1981 as an off-shoot of Candid Camera which was a very well known CBD photography studio. Initially Imageland was a 1 hour photolab, picture framing was added in these early days too. After a few owners the Enevoldsen family took it on in the mid 90's.
In 1999 we moved from beside McDonald's in the Kings Chambers to a much larger location opposite Alma st and we were mostly known as "the big Kodak shop" - we opened or Frankton location for production in 2007 and finally needed to close the CBD location in 2014 as retail shopping trends changed.
Lance is the owner, Jenna is the GM and there is an amazing team at our Frankton location, easy parking makes us easy to visit and I'm happy to show Chamber members around our operation if they wish and I happen to be about.
We still process film (the only one in Hamilton!)
We reproduce Art and use ridiculously fancy gear to do it
We print high grade photographic work for photographers but mostly for the retail market
We make great picture frames, little wee ones and insanely large ones
We install frames, offices, hotels, motels and your home
