About Us
How Good Architects is a Hamilton based architecture practice led by registered architect Liam O’Brien. The practice provides clear, practical architectural services for residential and light commercial projects, from early concept design and 3D visualisation through to detailed documentation and building consent drawings.
With experience across bespoke homes, renovations, commercial, education, and public sector projects, How Good Architects aims to make the design process approachable, well considered, and genuinely useful for clients. The focus is on providing thoughtful design advice, clear communication, and practical documentation that helps projects move forward with confidence.
Services include initial design advice, concept design, 3D renders and visualisation, developed design, detailed design and specification, consent documentation, contractor procurement support, and construction phase assistance where required.
How Good Architects works with homeowners, builders, developers, business owners, and organisations looking for a straightforward architectural process without unnecessary fuss. Translation assistance is also available for Mandarin-speaking clients, helping ensure clear communication throughout the design process.
