Hillcrest High School

My name is Hayley Gatenby and I work as the Creative Arts Liaison at Hillcrest High School. I actively support and promote the Visual Art, Drama and Music Departments and the Arts Faculty through promotion of the Arts across social media, community and newsletters. 

The Arts have a long and rich tradition at Hillcrest High with many students going on to have successful careers in the Creative Arts after they leave school. I look forward to continuing traditions and helping to provide more opportunities for students at Hillcrest High School. 

Hillcrest High School is dedicated to equipping students with a strong foundation. By prioritising accounting and economics education, we aim to empower students with the knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities necessary to navigate the complex financial world.  We want students to delve into the intricacies of accounting, learn to analyse financial statements and understand cost analysis. Our economics course enables our students to grasp the broader economic decisions and choices. We want students to foster a deeper understanding of financial concepts by combining theoretical knowledge with practical application.
