About Us

GAVINS is a family owned and operated agricultural business providing a wide range of services and products to farming customers across the greater Waikato Region.

Here are some of the things we do:

Agricultural contracting and cropping services - a full service offering from spraying to planting to harvesting and everything in between.
Stockfeed manufacturing and distribution - supplying customised feed blends for dairy cows, dairy goats and dairy sheep.
Earthworks - Civil and rural earthworks and drainage. Peat land development specialists.
Transport - bulk, general freight, machinery transport and auger truck services.

We are farmers too, involved in a variety of farming activities, including:

Maize - growing maize silage and maize grain on our own farms and leased land.
Horticulture - indoor crop production, growing strawberries, figs and passionfruit.
Livestock - Dairy goats, dairy cows, beef and dairy grazing.
