Description
Join us for the first Chamber Export Group meeting with David Downs, CEO of NZ Story. Whether you’re a seasoned exporter or just starting out, this event promises something for everyone.

David Downs is a remarkable individual with a diverse background. He wears many hats: business leader, public servant, consultant, and board director. Interestingly, he’s also a genetically modified organism. Currently, David serves as the CEO of The New Zealand Story, an ambitious government-funded organisation dedicated to promoting New Zealand globally.
Before his current role, David spent a decade as a General Manager at New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE). During this time, he collaborated with the technology sector, facilitating the international growth of fast-growing tech companies. His responsibilities spanned across various teams at NZTE, including Services, Customer, and Corporate Services. Additionally, he led a cross-government initiative for the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment (MBIE), focusing on the Agritech sector.
