The Celebration Project - Recognising our Paralympians
Celebrate and network with our sporting heroes and business leaders in the Waikato.
In New Zealand’s 50-year Paralympic history, more than 200 athletes have proudly represented us on the world stage. The Celebration Project aims to officially recognise and celebrate the achievements of New Zealand’s 209 Paralympians since the New Zealand Paralympic Team first competed at the Tel Aviv 1968 Paralympic Games.
PNZ is staging a series of 12 community events throughout the country during the lead-up to Tokyo 2020 in partnership with the New Zealand Chamber of Commerce and Toyota New Zealand. Now it’s time to join the Waikato Chamber of Commerce, Ebbett Toyota and Paralympics New Zealand to officially recognise some of those 209 Paralympians with their numbering ceremony where they will be presented with their Paralympic pin and certificate.
