Trustee Tinder 2026
Waikato community organisations are doing life-changing mahi, but many struggle to find trustees. If that shortage continues, it can severely limit their impact.

Trustee Tinder was created to help bridge that gap. Launched last year in partnership with Community Waikato and Volunteering Waikato, it is a purposeful trustee speed-dating event that connects skilled professionals with community groups in need of governance support.

Feedback from the 150+ attendees last year was overwhelmingly positive, with many would-be trustees and not-for-profit organisations making successful connections. Because of that success, Trustee Tinder is returning in 2026.

Come and meet a wide range of not-for-profit organisations, hear what they do, who they need, and where your skills, experience, and passion might fit. Previous governance experience is welcome, but not required. The most important ingredient is a genuine passion for community.
