Description
In 2026 Homegrown is making the move to Hamilton - a thrilling new era for both the event and our city. Events of this scale are vital to our local economy - drawing thousands of visitors, boosting hospitality and retail sectors, and showcasing our rich cultural and artistic talent.
Join us at our next Inspire event and hear from the organisers of Jim Beam Homegrown, Andrew Tuck and Michael Lamusse. Be inspired by the history and growth of this event, the impact it will have on our city and hear about the vision they have on how to bring Hamilton to life over the event period.
This is also a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have and be part of the conversation on how this event can invigorate our local economy and put Hamilton on the national stage.
Jim Beam Homegrown is New Zealand’s iconic homegrown music festival, running annually since 2008. It showcases the best of Kiwi music across multiple genres and 5 stages with around 45-50 artists each year. With a legacy of supporting local talent, it remains a cornerstone of Aotearoa’s live music scene.
Jim Beam Homegrown is New Zealand’s national day of coming together with thousands of New Zealand music fans and a massive lineup of Aotearoa’s best bands and DJs celebrating who we are through our music. From roots and hip hop to rock, pop, electronic, and drum & bass, there’s something for everyone!
