Is our company a member?

You can check if your company is a member by searching your company or trading name in our Business Directory on the Waikato Chamber of Commerce website.

How much does membership cost?

Membership is calculated based on your number of full-time employees (FTE). Current pricing: 1-20 employees – $350, 21-40 – $700, 41+ – $1,400 (GST exclusive).

Can everyone from our company have a login? How do I get it?

Yes. The primary contact can log into the Members Portal and add employees so each person can create their own login. If you need help, email info@waikatochamber.co.nz.

Can I promote my business, service or events through the Chamber?

Yes. Members can promote through the Members Portal (Member-to-Member Deals, Hot Deals, Market Space) or book a paid EDM sent to our database at member rates.

Do you certify export documentation (e.g., Certificates of Origin)?

Yes. We provide both manual and electronic certification services. To set up an export documentation account, email info@waikatochamber.co.nz.

Is this an individual membership or business membership?

Memberships are for businesses — from sole traders to large corporates. All team members can attend events and access benefits under one membership.

Can I still join if I don't have a business?

Yes. You can join as an individual under Category A membership.

What do I get for being a member?

Members enjoy free and discounted events, training, networking opportunities, marketing exposure, and access to a supportive local business community.

What should I do after joining the Chamber?

Get involved! Attend events, connect with other members, and make use of our resources. The more you participate, the more value you’ll gain from your membership.

How do I pay my annual membership fees online?

Follow the payment instructions on your invoice or log in to the Members Portal to pay via the Billing tab. If no invoice appears, your account is up to date.

How can my company sponsor a Chamber event or programme?

Join us at the Hamilton Gardens for the first Inspire event of 2026, set on the eve of the Hamilton Arts Festival Toi Ora Ki Kirikiriroa, where Chris Williams will share a powerful story of leadership, creativity and survival.

In late 2024, Chris faced a life-threatening health crisis that resulted in an extended stay in ICU and months in hospital with many moments where survival was uncertain. Now back at work he has a story of survival to share, where he reflects on how a positive mindset, and a strong foundation of health and fitness played a critical role in his recovery.

This session will inspire attendees to think differently about resilience, leadership and the foundations needed to keep showing up, even when life takes an unexpected turn.

About Chris
Chris is the Owner and Director of King St Advertising, a business he has owned since 1999 and is still active in. He has spent his whole career in advertising and marketing and has helped King St carve out a leadership position in the region, helping many clients develop successful campaigns, while guiding his business through major shifts in the media landscape.

He has a long-standing commitment to the creative sector includes being Chair of the Hamilton Arts Festival for 15 years, trustee of the new Waikato Regional Theatre, and the founding Chair of Creative Waikato as well as writing and producing three musicals.

The annual Hamilton Arts Festival Toi Ora Ki Kirikiriroa has been the Waikato’s premier arts event for 25 years. This vibrant outdoor festival showcases an exciting collection of the region’s creative community and a curated selection of national and international touring shows. The 2026 festival kicks off on Friday 20 February and concludes on Sunday 1 March.
