Description
Join us for the April Inspire event of 2021 - Brian White of EdwardsWhite Architects will be sharing what 'good design' looks like for him, what inspires him, and sharing some of the exciting designs he has worked on around Hamilton.
Brian White is a founding director of Edwards White Architects, which was established in 2005 in Hamilton, New Zealand. The studio has worked at a variety of scales across a range of sectors.
Brian has a particular interest in the rejuvenation of the central business district in Hamilton. He has been involved in a number of projects in recent years where undervalued buildings have been repurposed and restored. These projects have played a role in enhancing the liveability of the central city.
Brian was design lead for Victoria on the River – a park which was commissioned by Hamilton City Council and opened to the public in 2018. This has seen the city finally turn its attention toward the Waikato River, which runs right through the heart of the city.
Brian completed a Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Auckland, and is a member of the Hamilton City Urban Design Panel.
