Astra is an inspirational leader who heads the team at Community Link Trust, an organization that provides vital support services to Whānau and youth. She is passionate about supporting and strengthening the community, and her efforts have included organizing fundraising events and sponsoring community programs.
In 2021, Astra sold her Chipmunks franchise and took on the role of Parentlink manager at Community Link Trust, one year later taking on the role of General Manager.
The team at CLT provides one-on-one support, education, and positive change through services like financial mentoring, youth and parent mentoring, education re-engagement, emergency relief, and food parcels. Astra's vision is to see a healthy, prosperous community where every person has the support and tools they need to achieve their goals and dreams.
The team at CLT shares her passion and is committed to walking alongside individuals and whānau to restore hope and activate change that creates real and lasting transformation.
