This session will be focused on the India–New Zealand Free Trade Agreement and its implications for Waikato businesses. It is tailored for businesses seeking to export to India, strengthen existing trade relationships, import from India, or explore investment opportunities within Indian businesses or infrastructure.

Minister McClay will talk to how the FTA came about and provide a general overview of the FTA and HE Dr Sethi will outline the practical benefits it presents for Waikato businesses. Following the briefing, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an open floor Q&A.
