This course aims to introduce non-financial managers to modern financial tools that are available to help them understand and manage their businesses better.
This course helps managers interpret what the financial numbers are saying and gets them comfortable with conversing in the language of finance, relating to the performance of their teams and organisation. It also explains the linkages between financials and strategy, as well as effective performance management indicators that you can employ within your team.
About the presenter:
Howard Davey. Howard has a background in government and accounting practice, and is Fellow of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, as well as a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. His interests include non-traditional reporting, intellectual capital, international issues in accounting as well as demystifying accounting for non-accounting business people.
