Emerge, the latest event series from the Waikato Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with McCaw Lewis Lawyers, is designed to inspire the next generation of the Waikato business community. If you are in the first 2-7 years of your career, this event is for you.

We are proud to announce our guest speakers for the latest Emerge event! Jon Reed, Katie Hine and Greg Low will be speaking on the topic of sustainability and running a sustainable business in 2022. Jon, Katie & Greg share a common goal - to make the world a more sustainable place.

Jon saw plastic becoming one of the biggest threats to our environment and was determined to do something about it. He started researching how he could use more sustainable materials, and three years later Compostic home compostable cling wrap was born.

Katie is an experienced waste minimisation specialist based in Kirikiriroa-Hamilton. Katie is on an exciting journey to encourage and inspire communities, businesses and individuals to grow towards environmental mindfulness.

Greg is a co-founder and director of Reusabowl, which runs a reuse network for food packaging. Team Reusabowl are on a mission to create a world free of single-use waste via circular economy principles - starting in Wellington and now expanding out to Waikato and beyond!
