Is your organisation ready for the workforce of the future? Join us as we partner with Diversity Works New Zealand to look at how you can increase business success by engaging with workers across a range of ages and cultures.
One of Diversity Works NZ’s Diversity Advisors will facilitate a discussion on how our labour market is changing, the impact of immigration and the increase in Millennial and aging workers, and the opportunities and challenges that presents for our organisations around the country. The session will also cover strategies businesses can adopt to maximise the benefits of diversity in the workplace and create an inclusive culture that allows all staff to bring their whole selves to work, ensuring they have a workforce that is innovative and responsive to the changing needs of our economy. Sharon Scott from Waste Management will also be at the roadshow to share how her organisation is improving communication skills and creating career pathways for its staff with a workplace literacy and numeracy programme. The Skills First programme won the Skills Highway Awards at the 2017 Diversity Awards NZ ™. Read more about this initiative.
