Join us for breakfast with Leader of the Opposition Christopher Luxon as we hear his pitch to the Waikato business community five weeks out from the General Election.
This event is sponsored by 2degrees and The University of Waikato, and we are grateful we are able to host this event in their amazing new facility, The Pā. This event also takes place as part of the NZ Chambers 2023 National Conference which the Waikato Chamber is hosting.
About the speaker
Christopher Luxon – first a father, a husband, a brother and a son – is the Leader of the National Party. Christopher's life has been a storied one – travelling the world with his career. He was recruited by Unilever from university and rose to the role of President & CEO of Unilever Canada. Christopher left his role with Unilever to become Air New Zealand CEO in 2013.
Christopher ran in the electorate he grew up in at the 2020 election and was elected the MP for Botany. He was elected Leader of the National Party in late November 2021.
