DESCRIPTION:Sponsored by the Cancer Society\n\nCancer doesn't stop\, so we won't either\,\n\n\n\nJoin thousands supporting Daffodil Day on Friday 25 August\, bringing hope to the one in three Kiwis affected by cancer.\n\n\n\nLocal businesses and organisations can show their support for this iconic event. Hold your own fundraising event\; host a collection box in your place of business\, or put your hand up to volunteer at a street collection site on Friday 25 August.\n\n\n\nEvery dollar raised stays in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty\, and helps provide free support services for people in our community affected by cancer and their whanau. This includes transport to treatment\, accommodation at the Cancer Society's Lions Lodge\, support groups\, massage\, access to counselling\, and advice from a supportive care nurse.\n\n\n\nContact sharonrobertson@cancersociety.org.nz or call 0800 22 77 44 to talk about ways your organisation can get involved!
