A 'Champion Ale' medal win (NZ's most acclaimed) at the Brewer's Guild awards for their Apehanger IPA put Bootleg on the craft beer map and a growing list of accolades ever since has seen them rise to one of the country's highest rated craft breweries. \n\nBootleg focuses on brewing top shelf beer\; flavourful IPA's\, approachable Belgian style ales and satisfying stouts and porters. The beers are found nationwide with 440ml cans in grocery and liquor store channels and limited edition bottling from the Matangi Small Batch Series finding their way into the nation's best craft beer outlets\, bars and restaurants.
