DESCRIPTION:Sign up to donate and help save lives! The NZ Blood Service provided 29\,000 Kiwis with lifesaving blood products last year. We need to collect 1200 donations of blood and plasma every week in the Waikato to meet the demand from the DHBs and a vital way we can meet this demand is through the support of businesses joining our Team Red donation programme. Every donation an employee makes gets tallied and can be tracked on our Team Red page showing the amount of donations and lives saved. It is a great way for businesses to support the community and can be a fun way to have a bit of team bonding. With less than 4% of the eligible population donating we are currently needing to import 12% of our plasma products from overseas at a huge cost to the tax payer.
